Today, I am starting a new thing on my blog! Each week I will share a scripture, that I am going to keep near and dear to my heart throughout the week! This will be just a fun time each week, where we will draw closer to God! If you don't believe in God, I encourage you to read these posts! God is the one person that will always be there for you! He does wonderful, amazing, miraculous, things daily!
This week I thought that I would keep things simple, and talk about praying.
"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us." ─ 1 John 5:14
I chose this verse, because it talks about how God hears us.
Everytime we talk to God, he hears us! He hears us in the morning, the evening, the afternoon, the night, right before we take a test, when we're driving the car-he hears us whenever we talk to him, and he wants us to talk to him!
Sometimes people think that God isn't real, because their prays go unanswered, but God is 100% real! He hears EVERY SINGLE PRAY!
I also wanted to talk about this scripture...
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." ─ Philippians 4:6-7
I love this scripture for multiple reasons!
1. It talks about being stressed-My friend Kate did a blog post on being stressed, so if you are struggling with that, go and check her out!

2. In this prayer it says to ALWAYS pray! If you are struggling with something-pray. If you are happy and gracious-pray. Pray in every situation! Pray all the time!
3. It also says that God is always there for you, which is so TRUE! He is watching you, gaurding you, and there in everything you do! He has a plan for you! You need only to fufill his plans! Trust him!
